I am able to use my T150 wheel but setting it up was a pain in the ass. But the other side its still in an early access state with a lot of bug, lack of buses and bus lines and with difficult control settings. The graphic and the sound is so real sometimes i just feel im right there at front of the wheel. You can drive on real traffic lines in Berlin. Perfect vehicle and world details and ratios. Actually it looks like a definitive edition of the older game. Beacause of the strange graphics and ratios I dont like this more then the Bus Simulator 18. I recommend to set the realistic driving mode. I could use my Thrustmaster wheel without any setup. But the gaming experience is enjoyable with the missions and your own managable company. Graphics looks like a mobile game, fancy, colorful but the world ratio is so not right. I like them both since 2 different type of games.īus Simulator 21 is an arcade game. Honestly the buses are joy to drive, at least with my Xbox-style gamepad. I found the mouse is the best controller for driving in this game and it works really well. Also, passengers comment on your driving if you make mistakes which gets old really quickly. There needs to be a much better tutorial for that. I find the map and the system for creating routes completely confusing. Occasionally lampposts fall over for no reason. The passenger models and animation need a lot of work. The vehicle customisation options, especially the wraps, look brilliant!
You can be a ticket collector too and get driven around :D. You don't have to be the driver all the time.
The cheesy web radio that's integrated into the game is really fun. You have to wait a realistic amount of time for traffic lights to change. The excitement of being in a big world helping to get a bus company started. Like you're actually a bus driver in Berlin. Jagged mountains in the distance look a bit rubbish in a "we don't want you to see what's over there" kind of way. It's only one route at the moment from the centre of town to the airport and back. Warm beautiful world with great attention to detail. I have played both quite a lot so I can hopefully give you some answers that makes sense.įeels like a real bus ride in a real town.
